ExtremeXP at ACSOS 2024 : Demonstrative Poster Presented About The Project

At the 5th IEEE International Conference on Autonomic Computing and Self-Organising Systems (ACSOS 2024), held in Aarhus, Denmark, researchers from VU Amsterdam and Charles University presented a poster/demo highlighting some of the work of the ExtremeXP project. The event provided an opportunity to unveil the experimentation engine and the DSL editor, two key components of the project’s WP2 and WP5 work packages.

Researchers Rajenthiram Keerthiga, Gerostathopoulos Ilias and Milad Abdullah were on hand to explain the project and its progress. The paper, written in collaboration with their partners Keerthiga Rajenthiram, Milad Abdullah, Ilias Gerostathopoulos, Petr Hnetynka and Tomas Bures, captivated the audience with an in-depth presentation of the engine experiment and the DSL editor. The poster enabled participants to explore the experimental mechanisms of this tool, designed to optimise the management of data and processes in autonomous systems.

Thanks to this solution, the ExtremeXP project is striving to improve the accuracy of automated decision-making processes, thereby promoting more effective data management. The DSL editor, meanwhile, offers an intuitive interface that facilitates fluid interaction with these systems, making the automation and optimisation of experiences more accessible. To accompany the presentation, a demonstration video was recorded, providing an overview of the practical features of the engine and editor, allowing attendees to explore these innovations in depth.
