A Look Back at ExtremeXP’s Participation in EBDVF 2025
Where Innovation Meets Experimentation
Day 1 - Immersed in Europe’s Data & AI Landscape
The first day set the tone with strategic conversations on data governance, digital trust, and responsible AI.
Within this landscape, the ExtremeXP team introduced the core principles of our project :
-
An analytical approach grounded in experimentation.
-
A framework designed to deliver insights that are accurate, transparent, and aligned with real user needs.
-
A human-centered philosophy where users are active contributors to the analytical process.
Our partners from the Athena Research Center, George Papastefanatos, Gregoris Mentzas, and Dimitris Apostolou provided essential scientific insight by explaining the mechanisms behind automation, user feedback loops, and decentralized trust that support ExtremeXP’s architecture. This first day was also an opportunity to connect with fellow European projects working toward a common goal : building data technologies that are more responsible, agile, and accessible to all.
Day 2 - Demonstrations, Exchanges, and Future Perspectives
The second day focused on technical demonstrations, workshops, and experience sharing. Our partners from CS GROUP, represented by Pauline Delporte and Yasmine Boulfani, showcased concrete use cases highlighting the value of experimentation-driven analytics especially in domains where precision, reliability, and human oversight are crucial. Discussions with the community revealed the growing need for :
-
More adaptive analytics capable of responding to uncertainty..
-
Greater transparency in how models produce insights.
-
Systems that adjust dynamically based on real user behaviors and evolving contexts.
These conversations confirmed the relevance of our approach and strengthened our commitment to building the next generation of analytical tools ones that are explainable, adaptive, and truly human-centered.
